Episode details

Join us for a unique event intended to honor 21 Black Leaders of ATL

How It Works

  • This event is based on a special tour experience I created called, Black Leaders of ATL

  • You can participate with your own friends or as part of a biking group led by me, the ATLsherpa (see below)

  • You can bike, walk or ride in your car

  • There are five suggested routes on the interactive tour map

  • I will be leading a bike ride based on Route #4 (10 miles)

  • My group will depart MLK Nat'l Historical Park at 10:00. That ride will end at Lee + White.

  • There will be a get-together (after-party) for EVERYONE (regardless of which route you take) at 12:00 noon at the Monday Night Garage

  • The first 21 people who bring a TOUR LOG to the get-together (with at least 7 of the 21 stops visited) by 12:30PM get a beer on me

  • EVERYONE who brings a completed BLA QUIZ to the get-together (with at least 15 correct answers) by 2:00PM gets a 6-month premium subscription to the ATLsherpa podcast + newsletter

  • Everyone who attend the get-together at the Monday Night Garage will have to comply with any Covid protocols in effect at that time

  • This is going to be a fun event! Please invite your friends to participate.

Some things to know...

  • If you are unfamiliar with my tours, here is some guest feedback. You can also read some reviews on my Trip Advisor page.

  • My group (10-mile bike ride) will meet on the Jackson Street Bridge at 9:45AM. We will depart promptly at 10:00 and will be following Route #4 on the interactive tour map.

  • The minimum age to participate in this tour is 21

  • Pets are strongly DISCOURAGED on the bike rides. If you walk or meet us at the MNG, you are welcome to bring your pet.

Stay curious and keep exploring!
