Good morning, this is Steve Saenz, your ATLsherpa. It’s Monday, August 2, 2021. Welcome to another edition of my monthly podcast and newsletter.

Out on the road today, I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac;
A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back. You can never look back."

My Last Public Tour

On August 16, 2014, I led my first public walking tour in ATL. On August 15, 2021, I will be leading my last public walking tour.

My first public walking tour took place on 8.16.2014, just a few months before Krog Street Market opened. This was our first stop.

This four-mile walk will start and end at the picnic tables behind the former Parish restaurant in Inman Park. This is not a "tour," per se but rather a celebration, of sorts. If you have been on any of my walking tours during the past seven years, I would be grateful if you could join.

Heading south along the Beltline corridor on that inaugural tour. This is where SPX Alley is today.

We will be following the same route and talking about the many things we have seen and learned over the past seven years.
